Which type of trailers must be equipped with brakes?
Trailers and semi-trailers which are part of a combination of road vehicles
and whose mass, load included, is 1300 kg or more or whose mass, load
included, is more than one half of the net weight of the motor vehicle
pulling them must be equipped with an independent braking system enabling
a braking force to be applied on each weight-bearing wheel.
Do all vehicles have to be equipped wigh hydraulic brakes?
No, they do not.
