Rural Enterprise – Laurentides - Lanaudière

Canada Economic Development has designed its Regional Strategic Initiatives (RSI) to help promote and foster the growth of centres of excellence in the various regions of Quebec.

The Laurentides and Lanaudière Regional Strategic Initiative applies exclusively to the non-metropolitan areas within these regions and targets two specific areas of activity: development of the tourism sector and support of the capacity of rural regions to adjust to the new economic context. The Laurentides and Lanaudière Rural Enterprise initiative comes under the latter area of activity.

Developed and adapted for the specific needs of communities in the non-metropolitan areas of the Laurentides and Lanaudière regions, Rural Enterprise is a Canada Economic Development initiative, in co-operation with the local Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs), namely, SADC des Laurentides, SADC d’Antoine- Labelle, SADC Achigan-Montcalm, SADC de D’Autray-Joliette and SADC Matawinie.
