Farm families have long understood the hazards of farming. A farm is not only a place of business but is also a place of residence and often children have access to work areas while at work, at play or as bystanders. By comparison, it is ludicrous to consider small children playing around construction sites or mining equipment, yet in farming this is often the norm.
