Safety in Recreational Activities


There are a lot of fun activities that youth participate in to keep active, including skateboarding, in-line skating, snowboarding and skiing. The following information describes tips on how to 'play safe' by wearing the proper protective equipment and evaluating the environment for risks.

Citizens for Safe Cycling, a community volunteer organization, has programs and services to help children learn to ride their bicycle safely (including Kids CAN-BIKE courses).
