Parking Ticket Payment


Parking tickets should be paid on or before the Due Date indicated on the Parking Infraction Notice.

Option 1: Early Payment
The City must receive payment within 15 days of the date of issue of the Parking Infraction Notice. This option does not apply to the fire route or parking reserved for physically disabled infractions.

Option 2: Set Fine Payment
The Set Fine is in effect immediately, unless an Early Payment amount is shown on the parking ticket. If an Early Payment amount appears on the ticket, than the Set Fine is in effect after the Due Date (see Option 1 above).

Method of Payment

Parking tickets should be paid within 15 days of their issue date. The due date is included on the ticket. There are several methods of payment:

  1. Internet:
    Pay your Parking Ticket Online
    Only VISA and MasterCard are accepted. A service charge applies.
  2. By telephone:
    (613) 738-7719, 24 hours a day, seven days a week
    Only VISA and MasterCard are accepted. A service charge applies.
  3. By mail to:
    City of Ottawa
    P.O. Box 3450
    Station "D"
    Ottawa, Ontario
    K1P 1L4
    Payable to: City of Ottawa
    Payment is credited only when it is received at our office, not the postmark date.
  4. In person at any one of the following Client Services Centres

Any questions or concerns regarding a parking ticket? Visit one of the City’s First Attendance Facilities:

East Location: Orléans Client Service Centre, 255 Centrum Boulevard, suite 100

West Location: Provincial Offences Court Office, 100 Constellation Crescent

NOTE: If the infraction is for the offence of "Unauthorized parking - Private property", please contact the property owner or manager in question.

To check for additional outstanding tickets, call 3-1-1 (TTY: 613-580-2401). Please have the licence plate number of vehicle or vehicles in question ready, or registered owner’s name and address when calling.
