Influenza Immunization Program : 2006-2007

What is the Universal Influenza Immunization Program?

The Ontario government was the first in North America to make the influenza vaccine available free to all residents.

This program is part of an ongoing commitment to health promotion and disease prevention. With this program, the flu vaccine is free and will enable individuals to protect themselves and those around them against the illness and, at the same time, reduce the impact on the health care system during influenza season.
