Albertans will receive a provincial natural gas rebate on their November heating bills. This automatic rebate will save the average household about $27.
A natural gas rebate of $1.50 per gigajoule (GJ) was triggered for November as the price of natural gas has exceeded $5.50/GJ.
Under the Alberta Natural Gas Rebate Program, all eligible Albertans will receive rebates if the majority of Albertans are being charged more than $5.50/GJ on their gas bills for that month during the winter period (October-March).
