The CASA Data Warehouse


Welcome to the Alberta Ambient Air Data Management System (AAADMS). The AAADMS, more commonly known as the CASA Data Warehouse, is a central repository for air quality data collected in Alberta.

Data contained on the CASA Web site is archived data and may be at least one-month old. More current air quality data is available at individual organization's Web sites. At the present time, current air quality data is available for stations operated by Alberta Environment, the Fort Air Partnership, the Lakeland Industry & Community Association, the Palliser Airshed Society, the Parkland Airshed Management Zone, the Peace Airshed Zone Association. the West Central Airshed Society, and the Wood Buffalo Environmental Association,

In Alberta, a comprehensive network of stations operated by Alberta Environment, air quality management zones, Environment Canada and industry monitors' air quality. Air quality data from almost 30 continuous (hourly) monitoring stations and close to 40 passive (monthly) monitoring stations is currently provided to the CASA Data Warehouse routinely every month. Organizations that provide data to the CASA Data Warehouse are:

(1 continuous hourly station)
Fort Air Partnership
(8 continuous hourly station)
Lakeland Industry & Community Association
(21 passive monthly station)

The Parkland Airshed Management Zone
(2 continuous hourly stations and 37 passive monthly stations)

The Peace Airshed Zone Association
(42 passive monthly stations)

The Strathcona Industrial Association
(1 continuous hourly station)

The Wood Buffalo Environmental Association
(11 continuous hourly stations)
The West Central Airshed Society
(5 continuous hourly stations)

The new CASA Data Warehouse Web site has recently been launched. However, some of the links to the Air Quality Database are still being configured and may not work as expected. If you experience problems accessing any portions of this site, please contact the administrator.
