BACKGROUND BRIEFING ON OBJECTIVES OF MONTREAL INFORMAL

MINI-MINISTERIAL

Media representatives are advised that senior government officials will hold a technical briefing on July 25 on the objectives of the Montreal Informal Mini-Ministerial (MIMM).

Announced on June 25 by International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew, the MIMM will bring together some 25 trade ministers from World Trade Organization member countries from July 28 to 30, in Montreal, Quebec.
