The collection of full-colour photos on this site will be best viewed with a computer system displaying 256 colours or more.

To browse through our Canadian photo album, follow these easy steps:

• The photo album is divided into six sections.
  
• Click on a section from the main menu above.
  
• Each section has a strip of 'negatives' thumbnailing every photo within that section.
  
• To view a specific photo thumbnailed in the strip of 'negatives,' click on the photo.
  
• You will see a larger version of the photo and a bilingual caption.
  
• To view the other photos in a section, click the right (next) or left (previous) black arrow.
  
• To advance to other sections from any photo, click the right (next) or left (previous) red arrow.
  
• To return to the strip of negatives from any photo, click on the section title at the top of a page.
  
• To return to the main menu page at any time, click on the main title at the top of the page.
  
• To find out about this photo album, click "Introduction" at the bottom of the main menu.
  
• To find out some interesting facts about the history of the Canadian flag, click "Flag Profile" at the bottom of the main menu.
