PETTIGREW ANNOUNCES NAMES OF CANADA EXPORT AWARDS
SELECTION COMMITTEE MEMBERS
International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew is pleased to announce the names of the members of
the Canada Export Awards Selection Committee, which has the task of selecting the finalist and
award-winning firms for the 2001 program.
"These experts have been chosen for their qualities of entrepreneurship and their excellent
knowledge of business and the exporting field," Mr. Pettigrew said. "The firms they select will be
recognized for their innovative approach and the excellent products and services they export
around the globe."
The 25 finalists will be announced in late July. Minister Pettigrew will honour the ten award
winners at a ceremony on September 24, 2001 in Montreal, at the Canadian Manufacturers &
Exporters annual convention.
The following experts have been appointed by Minister Pettigrew to the Canada Export Awards
Selection Committee:
