GRAHAM CONDEMNS MOSCOW SUBWAY BOMBING

Foreign Affairs Minister Bill Graham today issued the following statement after the deadly explosion in a Moscow subway:

"On behalf of all Canadians, I extend my deepest condolences to the families of those lost in this terrible attack, and sympathy to the many who were injured. We hope that the investigation currently being conducted by Russian authorities identifies and brings to justice those responsible for this horrific and shocking crime.

"Canada strongly condemns this deplorable act of terror. We stand resolute in the fight against terrorism and are committed to continued cooperation with Russia and the rest of the international community in this endeavour."
