Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec
and Minister responsible for La Francophonie Jacques Saada will deliver a speech at
the inaugural session of the UNESCO General Conference on October 10, 2005, in
Paris. He will stress Canada’s long-standing commitment to, and support for, the
Convention on Cultural Diversity and the International Convention Against Doping in
