PAGTAKHAN - VISIT TO VANCOUVER
On Friday, May 18, 2001, Dr. Rey Pagtakhan, Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific), will attend a reception hosted in his honour by the
Philippines-Canada Trade Council in co-ordination with the Canada-Singapore Business Association, the Malaysian-Canada Business
Council and the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association. The Secretary of State will discuss the Asia-Pacific marketplace and the
role that Canada will play to enhance strategic co-operation between Canada and Asia-Pacific nations. Media representatives are
invited to attend.
