MANLEY - MEETING WITH TOM RIDGE

John Manley, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee of Ministers on Public Security and
Anti-Terrorism, will welcome Tom Ridge, United States Director of Homeland Security, to Ottawa on December 11, 2001.
The former Governor of Pennsylvania was appointed to the Office of Homeland Security to help in the coordination of U.S.
President Bush's domestic anti-terrorism campaign following the events of September 11.
At Minister Manley's invitation, Mr. Ridge will be making his first trip to Canada since his appointment.
