of Unused Import Permits
Note: Please note that any unused import
permits will be issued to applicants on a first-come, first-served basis
once the TRQ has filled. Applicants wishing to be on a waiting list must
make a request in writing to the Export and Import Controls Bureau (EICB)
indicating the amount required. EICB officials will only accept requests
once the TRQ has reached 75% (2,227,500 kg). If there is sufficient unused
TRQ, EICB officials will issue import permits taking the requests in the
order they are received.
