The Global Partnership Program
The Global Partnership Program is aimed directly at reducing the threat that Canadians and the international community face by use of weapons and materials of mass destruction by terrorists. The program funds cooperation projects in
Russia, and other countries of the former Soviet Union, to eliminate or properly secure the weapons and materials, and to provide incentives for former weapons scientists to direct their expertise to civilian applications
