 Your Input in the Policy Planning Process

The following outlines how Canadians' input into the eDiscussion reaches Foreign Affairs' Policy Planners.
1) An eDiscussion is open for approximately eight weeks. During this time Canadians can contribute online to the Feature Issue topic.
2) Once completed, the submissions are summarized by Foreign Affairs Policy Reseach staff.
3) The summary is circulated inside Foreign Affairs to appropriate Policy Planners throughout the department.
4) Foreign Affairs drafts a reply to the summary which is posted on this Web site.
5) A new eDiscussion is opened, and the old discussion is archived but left live on this site for reference at any time. |
