The Canadian Embassy in Argentina Canada's Representation Abroad

Since 1997, Canada’s development cooperation in Argentina has focused on transferring Canadian expertise and methodologies to contribute to Argentina’s:

• ability to deliver programming, particularly in the areas of health and education; and
• efforts in public sector reform.

• geographic programs including
  • the Inter-American Program;
  • the Indigenous Peoples Partnership Program.

• multilateral programs including
  • the International Humanitarian Assistance Program;

• other programs that allow institutions, associations, Canadian and international non-governmental organizations, and private sector enterprises to receive funding from CIDA to execute projects worldwide;

• and the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, managed locally by the Canadian Embassy in Argentina.
