Intertrade - The International Trade Book of Chile Directory of Chilean importers and exporters with some trade statistics and a list of countries to/from which Chile exports/imports. In this site it is possible, among other things, to look up a Chilean firm and get information on its imports (eg. what products it imported, in which quantities, and from which countries). Latin World Directory of Internet resources on Latin America and the Caribbean. Through the "Chile" pages, you can access information on economy and finance (links to the Central Bank, a number of private banks, the stock market), as well as general information on culture, education and research, sports, travel, etc. While the Latin World Structure is in both English and Spanish, many of the end-documents/end sources offer information in Spanish only. ProChile (English, with some information in Spanish only) This is the Web site of Chile's Export Promotion Bureau (part of the Department of Foreign Affairs). Ministerio de Agricultura Chileno Chile's Ministry of Agriculture Odepa (Oficina de Estudios Politicos Agrarios) Agricultural Studies and Policies Bureau; it is responsible for preparing and reviewing sector-related policies, supplying national and international information and data in support of the decision-making process of the agricultural agents and providing technical support to ministerial authorities. INIA (Instituto de Investigación Agropecuaria) Institute for agricultural research; it is responsible for the creation and development of technology and the transfer and divulgation of scientific/technological innovations among users. Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero (SAG) Agricultural and Livestock Service (equivalent of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency). INDAP (Instituto de Desarrollo Agropecuario) Institute for Agricultural Development; its objective is to promote and encourage the development and consolidation of small farmers.
