World Tour of the Banff Mountain Film Festival in Chile

The World Tour of the well-known Banff Mountain Film Festival (BMFF), held annuallyin Canada since 1976, will show in Chile for the seventh consecutive year a selection of thebest mountain films. The Mountain FilmFestival - Chile 2006 will show over fifteen short andmedium-length films from Canada, France and the US, from August 31st to September 2ndat the Centro de Extensión Universidad Católica. In addition, a special sample of Latin Americanmountain films will also be shown. On the first night of the festival, renowned US climber Royal Robbins, who revolutionized rock-climbing in the 60s, will be a guest speaker.

In Santiago, Centro de Extensión Universidad Católica(Av. Bernardo O'Higgins 390), August 31st to September 2nd,at 08:00 pm.

Tickets are on sale at the Centro de Extensión:

 

 

General Public $4,000 per night

 

$7,000 for two nights

 

$10,500 for three nights

 

Students and Bice Bank clients:

$3,500 per night

 

$6,000 for two nights

 

$9,000 for three nights
