Belarus, Proposed Regulation – Order amending the Area Control List

The Government of Canada has commenced the regulatory process to add Belarus to the Area Control List. If Belarus is formally added to the Area Control List, all exporters wishing to export goods to Belarus will be required to apply for an export permit from the Export Controls Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Export permits applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
