Build and Renovate to Avoid Mold — Indoor Air Quality Workshop
November 14
Lions Senior Citizens' Centre
473 St. George Street
Moncton, New Brunswick

Topic: IAQ, Indoor Air Quality

Audience: Architect / Engineer, Builder / Renovator, General Public, Inspector, Manufacturer, Property manager

We spend over 90% of our time indoors. Poor indoor air quality (IAQ) in the home can affect people's health. Managing mold during construction is one of the ways to prevent or correct IAQ problems and provide a clean air environment.

This workshop will give professionals a solid understanding of mold and other IAQ issues including:

  • What a moldy home means to you and your clients
  • How to prevent and treat mold
  • Off-gassing from building materials
  • Heating, combustion, ventilation and air filtration systems and their effects on indoor air quality
  • How to build or renovate homes that are healthy for the occupants.

The one-day Build and Renovate to Avoid Mold workshop or Let's Clear the Air seminar is a prerequisite for the 3-day Residential IAQ Investigator course.
