How to Use This Web Site
Before you determine the correct number of pieces for your mailing, you should identify your target audience based on the following criteria:
- geographic requirements (city or town, specific neighbourhoods, letter carrier routes etc.)
- type of householder counts required (houses, apartments, businesses, farms, or any combination of these.)
As you navigate through this site, a series of choices will lead you to data best suited to your individual business requirements.
To Begin
Start by selecting the Householder Counts and Maps link from the right-hand side of the Householder Counts and Maps introductory page. This will open a pop-up menu. From the pop-up, define the type of Householder data required by selecting either Consumer's Choice or Total Points of Call. This will take you to an index that lists Canada, with its Provinces and Territories.
To the right of each Province & Territory are three buttons. These buttons will take you either to the URBAN Householder Counts, RURAL Householder Counts or FSA [Forward Sortation Area] MAPS.
To access Householder Count and Map data, click on the URBAN COUNTS or RURAL COUNTS button of the PROVINCE/TERRITORY that you are interested in viewing. Select the MAPS button for quick access to FSA Map Boundaries.
Navigation directions to Householder Counts and Letter Carrier Walk maps are available by selecting the following link:

Note:
- FSA and LCW maps can only be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 4.0 or higher. If required, select the Adobe Acrobat Reader link, visible on the INTRO page of this site to download this software.
- Maps open in a PDF format, which you can download or print.
- It is important to note that if you have downloaded these maps, the associated web links will not work. These links only function when maps are viewed on-line.
