Library Catalogue

The Canadian Housing Information Centre's library catalogue is the primary tool for finding material held in the collections of the library.

• Find CMHC publications and research reports. The library maintains copies of every publication published by CMHC and these can be consulted on site, borrowed (link to library services) or downloaded from the catalogue where electronic versions are available.

  • To purchase priced CMHC publications and/or to acquire free publications consult the online Order Desk.
  • Many CMHC research reports are now available electronically and can be downloaded for free from the catalogue. If you wish to order print copies of CMHC research reports, contact us to order.
• Find non-CMHC books, publications, studies, reports, journals, directories, reference materials, and videos on a wide range of topics relating to housing, including: new construction techniques; housing design options; new technologies for the home; Healthy Housing; the home buying process; mortgage insurance; energy efficiency; urban development; and many more.
