Text too small? Print

The Standards Council of Canada is committed to ensuring its Web site is accessible and user friendly. We are currently working on a permanent solution to help users who require larger font. In the meantime, you can follow these steps to change the font size of the text on this site.

If you are using Internet Explorer:

  1. Select Tools in the menu bar.
  2. Select Internet Options – a box will open.
  3. Click on the “Accessibility” button in the bottom right corner.
  4. Another box will open – place a checkmark in the box beside: “ignore font sizes specified on web pages” – click OK.
  5. Click OK again to close the Internet Options box.

To make the font size displayed larger or smaller according to your preference:

  6. Select View in the menu bar.
  7. Select Text Size.
  8. Choose your desired text size (Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller, or Smallest).

If you are using Netscape:

  1. Select View in the menu bar.
  2. Select Increase Font – this will automatically increase the font size.
  3. Continue selecting Increase Font until you have arrived at the desired size.
