Zilá Bernd finishes her term as President of the ICCS/CIEC

Finishing her four-year term as President of the International Council for Canadian Studies, Professor Zilá Bernd attended the meeting of the Board of Directors held in Ottawa last May. On that occasion, all former presidents of the Council gathered to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ICCS-CIEC.

The group also celebrated the success of the administration of the Council, which now has 7,000 members in about 50 countries. The new president-elect is Cornelius Remie from the Netherlands.
