Canadian group BLOU to play at SESC Pompéia on Friday, March 14

The Canadian Consulate General of São Paulo is pleased to bring to São Paulo Canadian musical group BLOU for celebrations surrounding the International Day of La Francophonie in Brazil.

This important reference in Canadian culture will be commemorated and represented by musical group BLOU in their only performance in São Paulo on Friday March 14 at SESC Pompéia (Rua Clélia 93) at 21h00. Tickets are on sale at SESC Pompeía for R$ 12,00 (integral), R$ 9,00 (SESC members) and R$ 6,00 (students and senior citizens).

70% of box office sales will be donated to charitable institution Casa do Menor Santo Amaro, one of the entities supported by the Canadian International Women's Society (CIWS), a non-profit organization that has developed community actions in São Paulo for the last 40 years. We invite all to take part in this demonstration of the Acadian culture of Canada in an unforgettable performance!

BLOU performed in Rio de Janeiro (SESC Arte on March 11 at 19h00) and Unimep's Campus Taquaral in Piracicaba SP on March 12 at 20h30 as part of its Latin American, Carribean and US tour sponsored by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada.
