Description: Project Yukon funds projects in three categories. structures, community spaces and people-based projects. The intent of Project Yukon is to enable community groups to build, renovate or revitalize community buildings; to create enjoyable community spaces for Yukoners; and to emphasize the importance of recreation and training for Yukon people.

Structures - projects that build, renovate or revitalize community or heritage structures. This includes everything from small interior improvements to repairs and additions. Funding requests are limited t a maximum of $100,000.

Community Spaces - projects that improve the community spaces where Yukon people live or frequently visit. Examples include: bike paths, trails, landscaping and other types of community recreation spaces or beautification projects. Funding requests are limited to a maximum of $50,000.

People - projects that support social and recreational activities, or improve the skills, knowledge and training of Yukon people. Projects which bring people together for an event, activity, or training opportunity will be considered. Funding requests are limited to a maximum of $20,000.
