For government lands and private lands, a burning permit is required between April 1 and September 30. Burning permits can be obtained free of charge from your local Wildland Fire Management district office and Fire Initial Attack Bases. Client Services & Inspections district offices with Department of Energy, Mines and Resources also issue burn permits.
