| Description: |
Contract Services is the central agency for tendering and providing guidance on contracting activities within the Yukon government. The office helps to make sure that government guidelines are followed. Contract Services advertises public tenders and requests for proposals, issues and processes tender/proposal documents, manages the preliminary review of bids and proposals, and administers contract insurance, bid deposits, contractor payments and holdbacks.
