Description:

This program offers construction financing for rural Yukon residents. Financing is available for up to two years; so that qualified applicants can build their own home. A minimum down payment of 2.5 per cent is required with a maximum 25-year amortization and five-year interest rate term. You may decide to build your home as prescribed under the Yukon Housing Corporation's Green Mortgage Program to qualify for an interest rate reduction.
