Description:

This program manages the Yukon's palaeontological resources under the Historic Resources Act, federal Yukon Archaeological Sites Regulations and land claims agreements. It also does research to support Yukon Beringia Interpretative Centre programming. The Yukon Palaeontologist is the Expert Examiner for palaeontological remains managed under the federal Cultural Property Export and Import Act.
