The Yukon Geology Survey promotes sustainable mineral and oil and gas resource development and management in the Yukon through the development of a modern geoscience database. The program carries out regional bedrock mapping projects, mineral deposit studies, placer deposit studies, mineral assessments, and geochemical, geophysical and environmental studies.
