The mission of the Department of Health and Social Services commits the department and its employees to quality health and social services for Yukoners. This is achieved by:
- helping individuals acquire the skills to live responsible, healthy and independent lives; and
- providing a range of accessible, affordable services that assist individuals, families and communities to reach their full potential.
