Motor Transport Board

The Motor Transport Board is mandated to issue certificates of operating authority and to regulate the motor transport industry in the Yukon under the Yukon Motor Transport Act and Regulations. Since the Federal Government deregulated extra-territorial trucking in 2000, the Motor Transport Board has been regulating all Charter/Tour/Schedule Bus and Taxi operations as well as intra-territorial trucking.
