LinksGender Inclusive Analysis Gender-inclusive analysis recognizes that the realities of women's and men's lives are different, and that equal opportunity does not necessarily mean equal results. The results of policies and legislation need to be anticipated, and these results need to be as equitable as possible for all women and all men. In some cases, gender issues may be significant to the policy and play a determining role. In other cases, they may be less significant and constitute a set of factors to be weighed with others. The Yukon Government continues to support the implementation of gender-inclusive analysis in all government programs, policy and legislation. Many jurisdictions have developed tools to review existing and proposed policies from a gender perspective.
