Description:
|
The Public Schools branch is responsible for managing the operation of public schools throughout the Yukon, including the Catholic schools. Among other things, the branch provides curricula and learning materials, language programs in both French and aboriginal languages, professional development for teachers, support for special needs programming, support for school councils and boards and the hiring and supervision of teachers and administrators.
