Description:

This program may offer homeowners of a residential dwelling a low interest loan to install non-electric heating systems. One eligibility requirement is that you currently use electricity as the primary heating source and consume in excess of 1000-kilowatt hours of electricity per month, through at least six months of a twelve-month period. Depending on the amount borrowed, the repayment term is either five or seven years.
