The Whitehorse Public Library contains books, reference materials, audio-visual materials, newspapers, magazines and other publications. Its holdings include those of 14 community libraries. The Whitehorse Public Library also offers free public Internet services, audio-visual equipment rental, Reference Desk services, computers and software, a literacy collection, meeting rooms, listening centres for books and music on tape, group tours, and special readings and events.
