Sites Retained by Owner
The following sites are under owner/operator care. The links will take you to the company Web page where you can find out more about each mine.
- Minto
This is a copper, gold and silver mine developed by Minto Explorations Ltd/ASARCO. It is located 75 km northwest of Carmacks (not currently in operation).
- Viceroy Brewery Creek
This is a former heap leach gold mine that is currently undergoing decommissioning by Alexco Resource Corporation. It is located 55 km east of Dawson City.
- Ketza River
This is a former gold and silver mine held by YGC Resources Ltd., located 85 km south of Ross River.
