Tiffani Fraser
Petroleum Assessment Geologist

Tiffani joined the Yukon Geological Survey in 2006 as a Petroleum Assessment Geologist. She is currently researching the Petroleum Potential of the Peel Plateau and Plain, in conjunction with the Northwest Territories Geoscience Office, the Geological Survey of Canada, and industry partners. Her petroleum experience was gained in Calgary working for Anadarko Canada Corporation. In addition to the oil and gas world, Tiffani has worked as a surficial geologist in northern B.C., Alaska and in the Yukon, and has had the opportunity to assist with a regional mapping project on northern Ellesmere Island.

Tiffani graduated from the Geography departments at McGill (B.A. 1993) and Carleton University (M.A. 1995), and from Geology at the University of Calgary (B.Sc. 2001). Her Master's thesis looked at surficial 'muck' deposits in the Klondike region of the Yukon.
