Welcome to Geomatics Yukon

Your first stop for Yukon spatial data and geomatics support

Geomatics Yukon provides a service through Client Services, Information and Communications Technology Branch, Department of Highways and Public Works, Government of Yukon.

This unit provides corporate coordination, support and liaison for geomatics activities within the Yukon Goverment and with external partners and customers, addresses gaps in geomatics activities and data, and provides a single window through which customers can access Yukon spatial data and services.

Geomatics Yukon defines geomatics as a technology and service sector focusing on the acquisition, storage, analysis, dissemination, and management of spatial data, including the disciplines of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), remote sensing, GPS (Global Positioning Systems) and cartography.
