Social Housing Program Evaluation 2004

The Yukon Housing Corporation initiated an evaluation of its Social Housing Program in accordance with terms of the federal/territorial Social Housing Agreement of 1998. This report documents the evaluation findings.

The Yukon Housing Corporation is pleased to announce the Accommodating Home Mortgage Program. An "accommodating home" is a residence designed to provide greater ease of access, fewer accident risks, and simplified renovations related to aging and physical disabilities.

Homeowners who build or purchase a certified "accommodating home" qualify for a reduction of up to 1.25% in their mortgage interest rate.
