Tax in Canada

The Embassy is not in a position to provide advice on taxation matters nor answer specific queries on individual tax returns.

We receive at the end of February each year a minimal supply of Non-Resident Tax forms and a small selection of supplementary forms. Should you wish to have our office send you a current Non-Resident's Tax form, please contact the Consular Section of the Canadian Embassy in Vienna.

On December 9, 1976 a Convention between the Republic of Austria and Canada for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and on capital was signed.
