Who we are
The Yukon Bureau of Statistics is a branch of the Yukon Government located within the
Government's Executive Council Office. The Bureau was formed in 1985 and currently employs
eight full-time staff members as well as several part-time employees whose work depends on
the projects "on hand". The Director of the Bureau is Dr. Gerry Ewert.
Location
The Yukon Bureau of Statistics is located in the City of Whitehorse, the capital of the

Our objective is to provide responsive and reliable information, research and
statistical services in support of balanced and informed decision making by the Yukon
Government, other clients and the public.
