Welcome to the Education Reform Website
The Education Reform Project is a partnership project of the Council of Yukon First Nations and the Yukon Government. It is mandated to involve all partners in education, consult on education matters and make recommendations to all governments to initiate change to improve the education system.
Over the last year, the Education Reform Project team has been meeting with a number of First Nations governments, Chiefs and councilors as well as community members. See a summary of the “What We Heard” on page 2. The Education Reform Project team has also been conducting research, consulting with targeted groups and working with advisory groups in order to develop a consultation document made up of draft position papers. This document will be the focus of the community consultations on education. |
