Student Financial Assistance Committee - Appeals

Under the legislative authority of the Students Financial Assistance Act, Section 4(1), the Student Financial Assistance Committee acts as a selection committee for scholarships and as an appeal board for students whose applications were rejected by a Student Financial Services Officer

The committee is an independent body consisting of a Chair and not less than five other members appointed by the Minister of Education for a term of three years. The committee meets approximately six times a year
