JCB Racing Toronto Apex Award

Award Amount: $1,000 (1 Award per school year)
Criteria:
  • Yukon student that has completed Grades 11 & 12 in the Territory;
  • Accepted into a degree program of 3 or more years at a Toronto university (York, Ryerson or University of Toronto);
  • Preference will be given to a bilingual student (French/English).

  • Official High School Transcript;
  • University Letter of Acceptance;
  • Letter from a High School Teacher attesting to bilingual ability of student or copy of official bilingual certificate;
  • 500 word essay on How the Yukon 'experience' will be beneficial to his/her university years in Toronto.
Deadline Date:
  • July 31 (All documents must be submitted in one envelope);
  • Decision Date is August 12;
  • Disbursement will be made once confirmation of registration is received.
This award is intended to assist students from the Yukon accepted to one of the three universities within Toronto, which is one of the most expensive cities in the country.
