Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation of Canada College Students Bursary

Award Amount: Up to $2,000.00
Criteria:
  • Entering their graduating year registered in a full time program of studies at a recognized Community College, leading to certification to work assisting those who are intellectually and/or developmentally challenged;
  • Have demonstrated a sincere, caring, compassionate and keen interest in enhancing the quality of  life of those they will serve and the ability to succeed in their chosenfield of study;
  • Applicants should have above average grades;
  • Students facing unavoidable and significant financial needs will be given special consideration; 
  • Programs may include Collaborative Nursing, Integration Services,  Developmental Disabilities, Human Service Workers and Techniques in Special Education, Etc.
  • Must be Canadian citizen and a permanent resident from a Province or Territory;

  • Official transcripts;
  • Summary of past involvement assisting those with intellectual and/or physical impairment;
  • Letter from the applicant explaining their motivation for entering this field of study.
